How does tuning work exactly?
I am looking to bolt on some 1000cc injectors and switch to e-85. I want to eventually drop pulley size on my m62 and bolt on my euthanasia PnP head with zzp valve springs. I am not to familiar with any reputable tuners nor do I know how the whole tuning process works. Does the tuner have to be there or can files be mailed back n fourth?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated .

if you go HP Tuners route, you need to buy the software + Cable.
You install the software on your laptop, plug in the cable that comes with it to the OBD2 plug and use 2 credits to unlock your car. You also pull your stock file, and the tuner you chose will give you a config file. You start "Scanning" and turn your car on and drive. Your tuner will tell you what he wants, may be cold start and normal drives, WOT pulls etc. once you are finished you save the log and then email it to them if they are remote. if they aren't remote, they will be in the car the whole time and you just drive.
When he looks at it and makes the necessary adjustments, he will email you back the file and you flash it to your ECM.
I dont know how Trifecta does it, as I've never been Trifecta tuned.

Does anybody know of specific tuners that are good with big injectors?
