how will a cts react to a tune?

my boss has a 03 cts sports edition and he lost to me so i talked to him about him getting a tune. i was just wondering how this would act on his car. i know a little about tuning with our cars and a main part of it is more boost. his car has no boost so i was just wondering how it will benefit him.

It will make him shift faster maybe net a few more hp. A regular cts is slow and will always be slow though.

Not really that much if its an LY7 and a good tuner he can pick up a few ponies but if its got that 5 speed auto to my knowledge no one has software for it yet.

new question. how much do you think you will gain tuning a new CTS-V? Given it depends how close to the limits its already at, but this is my question. I wonder what you can do with a pulley swap and tune

yea, but thats with a ported head, cams, and a myriad of other lesser mods. Im talking a stock CTS-V with a smaller pulley and tune. Like a stg2 cobalt compared to a stock cobalt
