knock
not that ive ever heard of....
why would you want to be able to predict it anyway?
just run it, look where you had knock, fix the issue (fueling/timing, whatever it is), rinse/repeat until you have none.

i dont think your understanding how knock works....
even if you could predict it....its not going to help anything, as youd only have a split second before it actually knocks anyway.
dont be afraid of a *little* knock while tuning.
its not going to blow your engine.

part throttle knock is nothing to be concerned with. i run a retarded amount of part throttle timing in my car. with the TTR mount i have. it randomly spikes the kr due to bumps and weird things in the road.
lemme rephrase my question.... i know what causes knock n false knock. lets say i run a quick 4th gear histogram. as i look at the scan at home i see there there is no knock, but according to a referance in the histy, im about to knock at 6k rpm <just an example>. i now take action and do this that n the other, besides pulling timing, to make sure i wont knock.
