Maf Scaling

Would upping the IFR by a % allow you to run less g/sec on the maf? If not, what will do that?

How so? I found a post on hptuners website with a guy claiming raising the IFR is the simplest way to lower the maf. Why would it screw up the afr's? I mean obviously if I just touched the IFR and nothing else, then it would. But can't you compensate by tuning maf and ve?

yes, effing with the maf table will lower the signal output, but i dont know what effect that will have on your IFR. i always assumed that was strictly dependent on the injectors. why do you want to lower your maf g/cyl? are you moving so much air that you have outrun the tables in HPTuners?

if you half the ifr table you can also half the maf table which doubles the grams per second limit in the pcm
