Show me your PE table!

Well just as the title says show your pe table.

what i would like to know is when does everyones car kick into PE.

Above what TPS setting and above what MAP does it enter PE?? Also is there a rpm delay befor eentering PE?

2500 - 55%
3000 - 50%
4000 - 40%

i have the time set at 1.000

thats about it.

i have taylored the pe engagement to my driving style. it was set at 40, and that was too aggressive for me. s i upped it, and my gas mileage came back

i need to check it again to see if anything else has gone stupid. i myself don't see the need to dump fuel at 2 psi. thats just me

Not like some shops and GM tunes where half way 10PSI commanding 14.7AFR...LOL....it never entered PE...now thats very bad.
this is true.

mine hit's PE about 5 psi. now you have me thinking, guess if it's not raining when i get home im goin out to check it

water injection kicks on at 8 psi.
pe enabled at 45 %

i need to fine tune this due to some recent changes.

50% was 11 psi

i may drop it back to 40. guess we'll see what happens in the morning with it

denny, im running a modified version of the config log file that you have.

gm cars do not hit 100% throttle on the drive by wire systems. the highest they read is 88% i forgot about this till this morning, so im messing with the PE activation. dropped it down to 35% from 2500 on up.

figured id let you in on this

I had mine set in the 60s across the board. If I hit boost it was at WOT, otherwise I was in vacuum. Don't remember what my time was set at.

dropped the PE to 22%. one quarter of wide open. considering 88% is technically is wide open according to gm.

upped the ratio to 1.30. everything seems much better now.

Little correction here. Although the scanner shows 88% for a TPS value, the calibration should be using reported values from the TPS (TP1 and TP2) listed as ETC%, so 100 should mean 100 although stranger things have happened.

efi live, ls1/ls2 edit all read 88% of the DBW setups. so i don't "think" it's a hpt problem, or error in the calibration coding in the scanner itself.

i don't mind the 100% deal, it's just something else i have to work around.

the downside is, the car builds boost with less throttle in 5th gear, then say 2-3rd gear. sot he pe engagement had to be dropped to about 15% to get it to activate in 5th, but then it would come on outside of boost in lower gears.

it's a lose - lose battle.

blah!
we need individual gears, and cylinder control

It has to do with the parameter being scanned. Try to scan commanded ETC% and you should come out with the correct values for TPS.

You can set delay and min rpm at 0 as well as TPS, just set map enable to 100kpa and it should only enter PE when you are in boost. Nice thing about GM PCMs...they give you multiple ways to allow PE entry therefor you can tailor the tune to your personal liking. I just wish HPTuners would allow us access to all of our tables such as base running airflow and A/C airflow.

oooooohhhhhhhhhh
guess im going to have to look at that on lunch.

14.5 psi = 100 kpa, but i do understand what you're getting at.

100kpa is atmospheric pressure or 0 boost/0vacuum.

i figured that out when i went and logged the car at lunch.
doh!

now, the question being. setting the TPS engagement at 0 across the board, and setting the kpa engagement at say 105 kpa. this will do the same thing. or do i have it backwards

update!
went and changed it, tps set at 0
pe enabled at 105 kpa, which is around 2-3 psi.
it's good!
