Take off tune

I have a stage 1 tune on my cobalt, which was on the car when I got I it but I need some work done at the dealer ship. Is there any way I can take this tune off myself?

I took it the dealers ship last week and the tech said it would, so i didnt get the work done on my car.

lol. GMS1 is a warrantied product. If that's what you have they're full of it.

Like the others have mentioned....

If your tune is GMS1 it's under warrenty.

Find a different dealership.

Ok sorry for the mix up but I don't have the GM warranty any more. I have a warranty with another company and they said if the GM stage 1 is on when they do any work then it won't be covered.

Find someone in your area with HPTuners, have them save the current tune and flash a stock one to the ecu. then come back after the work is done and reflash the s1 tune.
