so my buddy that i dont talk to very often hits me up and is like my boy has got an rsx with a turbo in it and he wants to race u so im like aight thats fine. i laugh about it considering hes in a ****** v-TAK.
then he says he wants to race for some money. . . . . . and i asked how much money are we talkin in here and he was like how bout a grand! ! that made me pretty iffy. he was pretty damn confident so i was thinkin twice about racing him. so i told him i aint gonna race him for money but ill give him a shot. heres his mods. . .
greddy full race turbo kit running on 10psi (so he says)
short ram intake
fullexhaust
bigger fuel injectors and better fuel pump
ingalls tourqe damper
those were about the the only performance mods that he had. you can see my mods in my sig. so he told me his dyno numbers and (he says) he is putting down about 325whp and 265wtq. i dont know what my car puts down yet cause i havent had it on the dyno. so from there i was like **** it lets do the damn thing. he wanted to do a 3rd gear roll. . . . i was like **** that 2nd gear roll 40 mph. he agreed. we went out and he did the 3 honks. so it kinda gave him the jump advantage. but i pulled harder than he did. i pulled about a half car length on him. then i grabbed third and pulled his ass bad. i had him by about a car and a half by then. then when we both went for 4th he missed
. so it was game over! ! ! i was pretty excited. then i realized i didnt even put the car in comp mode.
so he wants to go again. this time i made sure i had the car in comp mode. but he slowed down to about 30mph and i could hear his motor winding up like a bitch so i knew he had to b in first gear
so he jumped hard of the go by about a half a car but he had to shift right away and i passed him but by the time he got to 3rd he was pullin hard and catching back up. he pulled righ next to me, we hit 4th and i pulled him just a hair. so when we stopped his front bumper was at my side mirror. yet again i beat him. even tho he was a little cheating bastard. 
his car deff had some pull to it tho. its the fastest v-TAK ive ever come up against.

good kill..i work next to a honda dealership and i see them leave and ask them can i play against ur si they always state" oh, my car is not running good right now maybesome other time..." bitches and there vtec system
Considering Honda's usually stay running strong than most cars, they were probably just scared of losing. My friend who I worked at Walmart with when I worked there, he owned an 03 and 04 RSX-S, both had a few bolt ons and was tuned by Hondata, and both ran 13's in the 1/4 mile. Yeah alot of that has to do with drivers, but both of his cars had over 100k miles easily and they both ran strong. Dont get hung up in the ability of the car vs the driver.
yeah it was a fun race. he was doin all the **** talkin b4 the race then after the race he wanted to make excuses. like hes not runnin as high of boost as he could b and **** like that. but damn with that big ass turbo he was runnin he didnt need to. i was just glad to shut those god damn vtec owners up. they always give me the excuse "well if i had a turbo. . . " well this guy did. . . and more mods and i still took his vtec and wiped my ass with it
I wonder what tune he's running. If he's running that emanage garbage he needs to get Kpro, a proper dyno tune and run you again. Should be better.

i have no idea how many times this has been posted... but NO LIFT SHIFT, can be done without being in comp mode...
the car only needs to have 97-100% throttle in order to activate no lift shift. (and a good driver)
yeah that would have been nice. but damn thats crazy to throw down that kinda cash on a street race. maybe on the track but on the streets its hard to know where ur racing from and where to and when to take off and **** like that.
Nice race! Im not a fan of the greddy kit, custom is the way to go. My friend built a kit with a 60-1 turbo and put down 358whp on 9psi and 412whp on 14psi on his type s. Anyways good kill though man!
