07 2.2 vs. Tc

i drive 25 miles home everyday from work on the highway and one day i went home late and this TC wouldn't get off my ass i kept blocking him from passing by speeding up and narrowing the gap between the cars in the right lane, so what does he do.... the next gap he punches it, so do i i start to slow down cause he has a car in front of him and i dont wanna see him crash, nope he goes around them on the shoulder. crazy mother f***er, so i keep on it we are right next to each other i stay in 4th all the way to 100 and by that time i was about a car ahead.
it was odd i expected more, i could hear his exhaust and he had some other visual mods, but no ***** under the hood, most of the time i was blocking him i would pull on him really hard and you could tell he was flooring it.
oh well another one bites the dust.../

Cause scion TC is almost 300 pounds heavier than an LS, TC almost equal weight to an SS/SC.

Depending on equipment, an SS/SC is only about 150 lbs more than an LS...

Round numbers, the TC coulda been an automatic, coulda had a ton of speakers in the trunk, too may variables. Truth is its heavier, and obviously slower. Oh well.

Ah, I don't doubt that weight would play a role - the tC has on average about 200-250 lbs on any model Cobalt, I was just commenting on the fact that the SS/SC is in no way shape or form the same weight as the tC. The SS/SC and LS/LT are roughly the same weight. The only difference you'll see between the two Cobalts is if you get a loaded-to-the-nines SS/SC and a stripped down base model, you MIGHT see 150lbs difference at best.

Thats how i was thinking, best/worst case. Like mine I roll a base LS, I dont even have the spare tire in it anymore. The only additional weight other than myself, theres the spoiler that will go when the carbon trunk comes.

But if you take something like our cars or any other car and load it up with speakers, people, big wheels and tires, and a bunch of body kit stuff. It's pretty to look at in a parade. Thats one thing i never understood, people doing a turbo kit or big supers and of course Nawzzzz, dyno big numbers, and complain that theyre not going much faster. Not understanding what a crucial part weight plays in performance.

P.S. I'm considering the bottle cause no one has released the tuning YET
*rant*
raking frackin motha &%)$(&^)#$&) TUNING FOR 2.2's!!!!!! argh.......
*end rant*

Nice kill...I love destroying tCs in my automatic 2.4-doesn't matter if they are manual or automatic. I beat them every time.

Yeah...the TRD parts for them are garbage...my buddy has intake, header and exhaust done to his Tc now and i'll have to run him to see how badly I get beat in my 2.2...I doubt he'll get more than 1-2 cars on me and i'm bone stock. I beat him when he was stock.

Good kill man!

i heard on this site that the trd supercharger is more efficient than the eaton and at 10 psi on the trd its like making 12 psi on the eaton , not so shittie if you ask me , by the way if you take the same motor a turbo will always produce better results , unless you compare some shittie turbo to some profound supercharger
