every time i raced an si from a roll i won.
my buddys IHE si was pretty close tho he stuck on me till 3rd, i pulled pretty hard maybe a car , or a car in a half by the end of 3rd.
Now lets say it was from a dig , and he got the jump and a awesome launch and got a car on me while i was babying the throttle in first and 2nd gear to keep form spinning. if we stayed even till 3rd from a roll there would be no way i would be able to close that gap and pass him before the 1/4 was over.sure i would eventually catch him ,but the race would be over by that point.
anther thing to think about when roll racing is, every cars gearing is different, one car or the other is gonna have an advantage,one car will be in power band the other car will be out.
so much changes when roll racing ,in my eyes it doesn't prove **** ,its just fun. iv seen 13sec cars beat low 12sec cars from a roll , hell i stayed even with my buddy's 01 Z28 that just went 12.2 on drs up to about 120 i stayed on his back bumper, but from a dig i know he would put bus lengths on me.
