well i was challenged at a local meet last satuday to a race by a guy driving a black 2.2 MR2 t-tops, or thats what he told me...he said it was non boosted model, it wasnt the older square ones, i looked a but more modern(not the new new ones either), but we ran from a 20 and i pulled pretty good, in the end he was 1 1/2 behind me, and we ran again from a stop, from the stop idk what was wrong w/me, my foot just couldnt stay put, i ended up over rev'n and i launched at 3500rpm, my tach read 6500rpm the whole time, but i knew it was fake, so i shifted whever i thought it was time, i hit 2nd and pulled away immidiately, in the end i was 2 ahead of him...i felt pretty good, i beat a car w/the same displacemnt, yet weight less than mine, mine only weighs 2780 w/me in it(wheight it at the track), but i had my gf w/me, and he had a passnger.

good kill man, those MR2's are light and RWD

A kid at my school said he would beat me in my 2.4 i just laughed and said k lets race, he never got to it and ended up toatling his MR2 b/c he dented the bumper and they dont make parts for it anymore lol, good to know i would have walked him tho
