Mail order tunes will never be able to compete against a good street/dyno tune. It's just a fact, ive only ever used a can tune to get my old T80/383 LT1 from my friends shop to my friends house to use Tunercat

People need to get their facts straight. Also BYT raced a 24 PSI TF tuned car with similar mods and they were dead even. (3 out of 4 times the trifecta car pulled, it depended on who got the jump)

Now most people who have the TF tune, seem to not get their tune refined, and thats why some poeple run rich, and some people don't make the power as others.

You raced an Auto from a roll with a female driver that doesn't race very often. I can see how you may have run her down.

Yeah this story is laughable. It wasn't cammed first of all.
Second of all with his "factory freak" and NLS shifting wouldn't make up for his dismal 8.8 at 86 which is what a stock LS2 would run, which is far from what a bolt on/cammed GTO would run (and an LS2 at that!) not to mention we all know GTO's are better once rolling...
I really just don't understand the posting of stories like this? If you knew something was wrong, if the outcome was way out of line, then why post it? Would you post hanging next to a Lamborghini and brag about it to the internet hoping for that once person that believes you?

If the GTO was cammed/bolt ons, he would have raped you. A STOCK ls2 GTO runs 12.6-13.5, which is what the fastest tune only LNF has run, which is what you are.
Most cammed/bolt on GTOs are deep into the 400whp range, whereas i would guess you're around 290/340

she was driving an auto....hard for a driver to ess that one up..
vince does not sell his tune on his HHR to people. Pretty much every tuner in existence will not do this, because they need to make a more reliable tune that can be daily driven 365 a year to their customers so they dont blow up their cars...

well 1/4mile dont matter on the highway, and like i said u cant compare those gtos to this one he prob didnt have the best tune for it and didnt have very much bolt-ons. and the those 2 GTOs at the end only trapped at 109-110 which is where i would trap very close too wouldnt be no 12.7 tho

pretty sure it was and no gtos do not trap 86 stock or with bolt-ons sometimes. its the truth dont really care what a bunch of cobalt owners have to say too much cuz yall hate on other people with the same car. and btw the old gallardos are slow so never know could actually stick one on the highway.

Note that this is ranked 169-210, so there are 168 GTOs that have ran faster in the 1/8 mile, however mods are not listed, so i cant promise these are cam only GTOs
and to summarize: your car is not as fast as you think it is. Vince does great work, but even still, he's limited by the stock turbo and the fact he must create a safe DD tune
why? you're comparing your cobalt to others? seems reasonable

Ok, so you saw one driver do that and no one can? A bolt on GTO runs that is a **** poor driver... My one trip to the 1/8th I went 8.7 and 8.9 at just under 86 both times (one spinning and one bogging bone stock in June in Texas). 86 trap works out to an average 106 trap in the 1/4, easily attainable in a stock GTO. Hell I bet a few of the top stock 04 M6's could hit that number with a beast behind the wheel.

I cant understand why either, you need a container to hold the bag up and i personally like the ability to close a lid on the milk while its in the jug. I do enjoy my trips up to Canada though every Christmas, although i try to stay away from the dirty french canadians while in Ottawa or Montreal.
