a 442 means 4 speed-4 barrell-2 dual exhst im pretty sure about that maybe wrong but eitherway its has nothing at all to do with the motor. 442 had 350-455 engines neither of which are a "bad ass" motor unless of course built to be

 

It all depends on the motor man, he would be making 250 horse power.. or 400.. depending

 

so I called my dad and while chatting about cars I brought this up because my uncle used to have a duster around that year. his only had a 340ci and used to run a mid to high 11sec 1/4mile. he can't remember how much work was done to it though.

 

power ranged from 170-360 and the motor ranged from the 305-455 and i think in 1990-91 was a 4cylinder, 4 speed-4 valves-2 cams. any way back on topic it depends if its built or not. i beat a 99 vette with my mods which includes a 2.99 pulley on stage 2 tune so its very possible to whoop some ass

those things are not nearly as fast as people think
if not well built they create crap for power

no, i have header,dp w/cutout,cat back,cai,H/E,ported n polished Throttle Body,and the 2.99
and that was a 40 mph roll
