So I was just cruising around town and I stop to put gas as I am leaving I notice a dodge dart coming up and he gets next to me spools his turbo and takes off. It annoyed me a bit so I followed him. He stopped with a group of cars in a parking lot. I call him out in front of everybody. Sure enough he bites the bait. We do a 40 roll three honks and I immediately put 2 cars on him still in second gear. I go up to about 80 because I knew and I'm sure he knew there was no way he was catching me. We go back to where his friends are and he stays real quiet. I smile and leave. Mods to my ss/sc zzp stage 3 kit. Modded K&n typhoon intake. Custom exhaust. Dart had intake not sure what else.

 

dart turbo isn't anything to brag about. what, it make 160 hp from a 1.4L. sweet that u put a kid who figured cause he had turbo he is fast in his place. I woudnt even waste my time, unless of course the kid was being a total dick. oh and u don't need to make 3 threads that say the same thing.

 

The kid with the Dart thought his turbo was going to help him win. The kid didn't know what cobalt ss' s are capable of. Especially with the your stage 3 surprise.

Why is it that people, who apperantly know nothing about cars, think because they have a turbo their car is fast. A guy thought the same thing in his lt cruze against my buddy's g6 gtp or whatever the 3.6 is called.

 

Darts were supposed to be the new SRT4 platform...never happened. Slow as ****....

Lately for me its Darts, Cruzes, and Velosters on my bumper... giving fly bys. Nearly 10 years of having a balt in the laneway, and its still the same ****... different cars.
I would like to see a stock or stg 2 SC run a turbod and mildly bolted dart from a dig. SC's launch like a bitch. Advantage Dart IMO

 

The reason I put this war story because it is my first. The car was my brothers he put all the work and time in it I was just blessed with it and it's a hell of a car and my first!

Raced one of these in my 09 SS tc. Started at 35mph. Gave the guy a little head start to make him hopeful. Got 1 car on him before I left 2nd gear lol
