I don't think that is close be any means, but like I said not being an ass just pointed that out for you

yea it is abit of a stretch, i ended up looking up the specs after i wrote that post...lol. Let me rephrase though. A 2013 636 should be able to hang if not, not far behind a 08 zx10r with the weight difference. I wouldnt know thought because i havent seen those years/models line up and go at it.

My Daytona 675 w/ -1 +2 Sprocket setup tops out at 139 MPH, I'll pull ahead by two buses in a heartbeat, but with enough road most sport cars could catch me. The thing is, bikes are for curves, not a straight stretch. (With the exception of the ZX14, Hyabusa and all those.) Saying you beat one in a drag race is pointless IMO

I beat a bike once too, it was all because the rider sucked, and the bike topped out at 135.

not tucking down lol. People that dont ride bikes (even some that do ride bikes) dont understand how much hugging the gas tank makes a difference..lol.

All depends on how your bike is set up from the factory how dramatically it will effect it.

Your bike factory is a 17/45 I believe, where as my bike is a 16/47. So my -1 +2 is the same as your -2 +4.

That's true. But also the internal gears. What's people's opinion on windscreens? Thinkin about a hot bodies gp screen. It's like a double bubble. But I am also not a really big guy at 5' 10" and 165, and can tuck right in there on the stock windscreen.

Internal doesn't have that big of an impact though. If you ran the same gearing as I have (15/49) then your bike would top at approx 140 MPH, so 1 MPH difference lol

You should go to the streetbike chat thread for this, but IMO, don't buy hotbodies, their stuff is crappy and cheap IMO. Look into the Zero Gravity line. I say if you can get behind the stock windscreen though then stick with it, I'm content with the stocker on my bike and i'm the same size you are basically except an inch taller.

Still. 14$ to fill the tank, 12$ oil filters, and 30$ for oil a couple times a year. I go through an estimated 50 tanks of gas a year (probably a little more), so it would take me 6 years of Gas,Oil,and filters just to equal the price of that ring.

Bike still wins
