Cobalt vs GSR 5 spd swapped Civic 4 door
This was just for ***** and grins. He had decided since I barely edged out an Ls B18 2 door coupe that hed be a good race. I figured id lose but figured why not.
1st race
20 punch to 120
Shot out 1 car immediately and then pulled another 1 1/2 cars out on him and held it till 110 at 115 he caught up and passed me.
2nd race Since he seemed to be a bit more top end figured id give him a bit of an advantage
40 punch to 120
Immediately shot out 2 cars and pulled another car on him through out the race at 115 he started pulling up but couldnt pass me this time by 120mph.
Mods for me are as listed and im an auto 2.4.
Him I/E/Flywheel.
It might not be a supercharged SS but I was fairly happy my DD beat a GSR swapped honda. Plus he is a base model so power nothing. This cobalt is still slow as hell but it seems to hold its ground decently especially for being an auto.

lol I had a bunch of them not wanting to run me but the second they heard I was NA suddenly I had a lot of honda kids wanting to pick on an NA cobalt. After I took out the B18C1 some of them lost interest. But this kid was cool he was surprised and honestly I was as well. Guess the 08s must be decently strong runners even in auto trim. His last time at the track he ran a 15.1 at 92mph. So im fairly happy!

Not sure the GSR is stock rated at 170hp. With this kid having pulled a 15.1 I believe that especially in a lighter civic. Im just shocked an auto cobalt managed that. The next time theres a deal on dyno runs I might get in on it.
