What year stang was that? I recently went for a ride in my buddies '00 GT..im not bullshitting anyone when I tell you I could not tell if he was flooring it or not (knowing he clearly was how he was shifting and I watched the RPM's).

If that stang was around the same year then I would expect this outcome because I clearly remember my cobalt pulling harder and getting up to speed quicker than than my friends GT.

Yea thats exactly right then for the outcome IMO. My buddies stang had a cat-back. I THINK thats it but nothing crazier than intake and exhaust. Almost 100k miles on it as well, but I know my friend got it with wayy less because it was his first car back in high school and we're both 21, put most of the miles on it himself. He actually truthfully told me he ran a 15 at englishtown. Granted he also told me he tried to launch but just sat there spinning for a second. Those stangs are slow for having a v-8...good work puttin it down OP, thats exactly how my memory/feel told me in comparison to what I saw with this video!

 

Nice run op. Don't get too cocky though, you can make a stang very fast with the right mods. Still a win is a win.

If he didnt slam off the rev limiter in 2nd and get at least the kid in the back seat out..or the fat kid, would have been much closer I agree.
