Im suprised you started at 40. If your not on drs your both spinning bad and when he hits boost...

 

If the C6 had the Z51 performance package then it comes with a different gear set (MZ6) if not it come with a MN6 . The Z51 option went away when the released the new grand-sport.

Depending on which tranny he might have been in 2nd gear . If he had the MN6 gearbox he might have been in 1st but only for a very short time...... like 15 MPH. If he had the MZ6 box he prolly would have been in 2nd cause it only does 50 mph in 1st and its not worth the shift for 8-10 MPH.

In 1st at 40 in our blown c6 with MN6....it's a waste of tire .... 2nd is much better and surprisingly grips well even with an extra 30-40 whp (roughly 570 whp) over a basic procharger kit (anywhere from 515-540)whp .

 

Really? Neither of us spun at all. I probably would have spun on DR's though. They suck on the street.
