Did I say it had anything to do with age?

I was just correcting you in that the SRT model was the first model of Challengers available.

I just watched a couple of the 392 cars dyno a week ago. They only put ~390 to the wheels with a similar torque number. Any 350+WHP cobalt should eat them up.

Diesels have a **** TON of torque but it doesnt make them quick at all. WEIGHT changes EVERYTHING. So if 300 lbs is just dinky, add it to any car and you will run 3 tenths slower in the quarter.

Challenger goes on a helluva diet and gets 470whp and it would be a bad beast. Right now its just a powerful fat ass.

Congrats on the kill, keep kicking ass! Shouldve gotten a vid so we could check it on youtube.

thank you.

Challenger info for the newbs;

2008: limited late model year run; all SRT8/automatic's
2009: First full model year;
base = V6
RT = 5.7L; 372hp/401tq auto or 376hp/410tq stick; auto gets cylinder deactivation
SRT = 425hp/420tq 6.1L; auto or stick
2010: same as 2009
2011: all models receive slightly altered bumpers
RT gets cylinder deactivation on m/t cars
SRT gets new 6.3L engine; 470hp/470tq

I love the Challenger - and don't give two hoots if it isn't the fastest car out there.
