electrical fire

ya so i had this horn on my car and it stopped workin so i thought maybe the where the power was coming from wasnt good enough... so i just hooked it stright from the compressor through a fuse to the battery... well it never worked right soo i decided to take it out...i uncliped it from the fuse housing and started to pull it throught the fire wall. FORGETTING THAT IT WAS STILL HOOKED TO THE BATTERY... it ended up gettin stuck and grounding out.. i saw LOTS of smoke coming from everywhere the wire was... i flipped **** i mean i was scared to death.. my baby was smoking.. i was so scared i started to try to yank on the wire to get it uncought and ended up burning my finger.. after i did that i ran and got the wire cutters and cut the wire from where it was connected to the battery.. i was so scared and started to make shore my car wasnt on fire from where the wire started to burn into the sets and the side plastic it was tucked in.... guys dont forget to disconnect your wiring from the battery before you mess with anything it is a very very scary thing.... but on a good note my car is fine and u cant even tell that i messed up like that hahaha
