Is it hard for you to say no to a street race?

So I got off the highway yesterday and there was this truck revving on me behind me at the light to get off the highway. I thought to myself pos I can easily take it.

Anyway he's riding my ass because he wants me to go faster so he can get in front of the guy that was next to me. My girlfriend is like, "don't do it" etc. and in my mind I was fully boosted and in gear, but my gut said listen to her. It was a tough for me to put racer vahdyx away and switch to DD mode.

Anyway I let him pass by speeding up. Mistake for sure. He gets next to me and matches my speed and speeds up and slows down. Annoying to say the least. Anyway my girlie was like OMG what a loser etc.

So then the light turns red. He's revving like crazy and I'm like, if she wasn't in here I'd shut this guy up. Anyway patients tried and frustrated so I rev back. I hear the db start laughing saying is that it.

Not one of my proudest moments. I pretend like I'm gonna launch and he takes off. He has like 10 cars ahead of me because I obeyed the law. I see a cop fly out from no where and pull this guy over. I roll down my window and gave him a cheesy smile in a thumbs up. But man it took a lot of willpower to ignore this fella.

do you guys find it difficult to ignore street races

I know what my car has, so I don't need to be street racing every chance I can. If someone messes with me, I might give them a go. But I can say no just as easily.

You lucked out with that one. Sometimes it pays to listen to the g/f, even though it might seem like they're being naggy and such. Theres a time and place for everything and that just wasn't it in this case.

I'd say good kill because he lost in a completely different way

Haha, it's almost like girls hate it all together lol. All of my buddies girlfriends don't even know why why add "pointless parts" to our cars. I say we wanna be faster, but their like, why? And it gets difficult to explain after that statement.

Nice though,

My girlfriend wouldn't let it down all night. "See you shouldn't do this", "remember when I told you not to race and it saved your license" All night, but I'm thankful I listened.

When it happens like that Sometimes Ićll do the same thing, Give a little baby launch, only up to about 2,500 and let off and drive like normal. They usually take off flying like mad. I just havenćt had one get pulled over yet.

doggone norwegian keyboard. forget it. I donćt feel like correcting it. Nice kill!

Not hard at all, it's illegal and I have kind of luck that I would get caught. Plus, I've never been challenged by anything respectable. It's usually guys in diesel trucks and oddly Acura TLs for some reason

Extremely hard for me to resist, but it also depends on what's trying to race me. If I'm 100% positive I'm going to freight train them I don't think twice about it, I drive normal, unless there's a hot girlfriend to show off too

At all times however, I am very aware of my surroundings. I will not even think about racing if I even have the slightest suspicion that there may be a LEO around.

Congrats to you on holding off OP. Truck driver got what he deserved for being arrogant.

alot of revving to be honest
i never rev at anyone ever first but if they rev at me i give the supercharger whine back
one time there was a 350z infront of me with a rainbow tip exhaust revving the **** out of his car all the way down main street of my small town. so when he went into the left turning lane i put it in second (and because it was winter at the time and there was salt on the road) floored it and just let them spin, for about 40-50 yds. needles to say main street got smoked out and i need new tires i think it was worth it though quite a show. did the same thing one time to a m3(me being the douche) and was lighting em up right as i passed a cop in his hiding spot, thought i was fucked but he didnt pull me over
thats my last memory of driving my balt its been six months 40 days to go

Really? I guess people who can't stay under the speed limit 100% of the time must be mentally challenged too.
