HHR SS vs Audi S5

Its a blistering cold, dry night. Where the turbo loves you and your tires hate you. A balance of wtf booooooost vs oh, did you want traction?

I pull up next to a gorgeous white S5. Dead straight road. No one around.
Light goes green.......Nothing. We both pull away like grandma who forgot her coffee :bored:. To see will this Audi actually give me a run, I goose it only enough to play the song of the psi people. Seemingly, I have his attention because he gives it a nudge.

But wait....another red light
It goes green and yet again we pull away slow.
Good good, he has fallen for my tarp. Its an Audi, it must be 4wd. So I need to lure him into a 40 roll.

Slowing next to him and dropping it back to 2nd at 40 sends enough of a line that he bites and nails it. I hit it at the same time and immediately it appears to be a drivers race. But wait...I start pulling ahead as my tires grab traction 3/4 thru 2nd, nail 3rd and I pull a half car. Catch 4th and grab a good car length. :pimp:

Light up ahead turns read so I roll my window down.
Me...Is that an S5?
Him...yeah, its "only" an S5.
Me...only? well damn it sure is nice as hell
Him....thanks
Him...So In saw your plate and figured Id like to see if its actually fast.
Me...It is :suspiciou
Him....yes, yes it is. Nice job. Take care man.

Looked it up. I def did the right thing getting him to roll.
They sure get out the hole with a low low 13 but only at 107.
Id have been embarrassed from a stop.

Good times.

S5s are not fast, they are not slow either.
my mom drives one and I was very disappointed when I first took it for a spin.

Ha I ran into one also in the hhr ss on the way to bring my girlfriend some lunch.

I didn't get a chance to do a pull cause I had to turn and I could tell he was gonna do a fly by anyways. I was up all night trying to find a video but this thread told all. Nice job on the kill man.

I love the plate frame, but I'd hate to advertise it has a turbo, I'd get in trouble with that lol

Damn man who tuned your milk truck? The only shop near me that uses HPT doesn't even touch LNF or LSJ anymore.
