ban me please, and im not sure what kinda hatch, it was an older one not the late 90 one, and my moms impala is 200+ hp i forget what it is exactly but its a pretty big v6, and you know what if I saw more civics like that i would respect them but every **** and ***** around me drives their little **** civics and they physically hurt my ears, i know one person with a legit turbo single cam and he just blew his motor and even that sounded like crap

you buy an american car not becuase you think its gonna be problem free because your saying **** STUPID JAP IMPORTS ILL TAKE THE TRIP TO THE DEALERSHIP

and thats what I am about, and even that we only buy american and we never run into problems, besides a few stupid things in my cobalt....

and honestly I think my car looks better than that civic and that what back in 07 now it looks nicer

Tell that to T1 Rd...

Buddy of mine on here bought a teggy with a ls from a friend of his and threw a turbo on it and it walked his ss/sc and a few of his friends rides. Then he found out the whole time he was running with barely any compression on one ha.

Good to know that he's on the same page as you and not turning it into a rice bucket.

U talk about running boost in that engine. Its a time bomb waiting to go off. Theyre not built from the factory to handle power. Thats why people drop in new engines or swap out the internals.

318 whp. I made that with a tune and DP. I also have forged internals. No engine swap, no engine work. Just a PCM, and a DP with stock exhaust.

Of course thery aren't built from the factory to handle it. But they do. I know of many folks who have been running on boosted stock internals for years, on multiple types of Honda engines! They just won't die. Granted they have good tunes w/o crap parts, but they do it. It just goes to show how strong their engines and transmissions really are. The only time they really "blow" is when they are in the wrong hands.

There is a couple videos of people online trying to ruin old ass Civics for fun. They take forever to kill them. One group of guys had a SOHC sedan that the drained all the oil out of and substituted it for water, put a brick on the gas pedal and ran it off rev limiter for 5 minutes. Nothing. Then they just drained everything out of it.....nothing. They then decided to pour an entire bag of sand into it as well. It STILL ran WOT for another 2-3 minutes before it even started to die, and even then it was still running...just not well at all.

Its not to say it isnt possible, BUT I prefer to have a DD that isnt going to blow up on me. Ive seen and heard too many horror stories about someone boosting their honda and blowing it up. Hell, at the track most of the cars that blow up off the line or are leaking something are civics.

Mustang right? That sounds about right. Actually surprised you couldn't squeeze out a bit more.

CSRT4. I have more than this now. So far the stock internals have been sturdy to 570 whp on a big turbo upgrade, tune, injectors and minor bolt ons. < Gotta love mitsubishi EVO X and its forged internals.

Understandable. I'm just saying it CAN be done on a non rebuilt motor. More times than not anyway. I did it. It's still running over 300whp on 10-12lbs. Reliably! I put that setup together and got it tuned 5 years ago and the guy has no major problems with it yet. It's still running as good as it was, because I knew it was going into good hands. Alot of idiots who don't know much and put together crappy ebay turbo kits on high mileage motors are usually the ones the bite the dust at the track.
