I don't give a rats ass if I go from a dead stop or from any MPH if I am ahead when we stop I won. People that bitch about dig racing cannot launch and anyone who hates roll racing usually has a 1/8 mile queen.

I drive a car that is awesome at both and consider anyone who calls roll racing stupid a *******.

 

x2 i ran one gto (ls1) from a roll and he was stock and i took him pretty good and one catback intake(ls1) from a dig to 110 and he had me by a half car if someone lines up next to me i have no problem racing even if i think my doors are going to get blown off

106+ with a bad tune not that it matters

 

So....what has your best 1/4 mile time been then? 2.4 60 ft, with a 106 trap speed.....

 

14.39 106.2 2.4 60ft. Car runs 19* timing and afr was 11.1 from 1k to 5k then shot to 10 or richer from 5k to 7k. i am retuning for 11.5:1 all the way car should go 108+ hopefully

bald street tires to not that it matters but the track is never prepped, going to milan with drag radials soon, so we will see

 

so.....you're worried that people think your car is a mid 14 second car.....but your best time to date has been a mid 14.....Those are a lot of excuses, and I'm sure your car COULD run faster with the mods list....but....you haven't. so.....I don't see what the problem is.....

videos? I've raced cars that are supposed to be faster than me too and beat them....thats one of the big things with racing...consistency and being able to drive to the vehicles potential.

Its all healthy competition, I'm not trying to start anything, I just think its kinda funny....once you get the DR's on and get to a strip post up times for sure!

so when you go to the strip with DR's you're making sure your tune is straight, clutch is good, no problems right....no excuses, I wanna see some times.....trying to sort through some BS and see what these cars are capable of.

honestly i might go this year im not sure though. My car is very capable one 13.1~13.2 with a 1.9 60ft safely might i add. My bro has his nitto's and gave em to me cuz he is on M/T et streets in his camaro now, but i might wanna get meth im not sure i have some thinking to do. The car honestly is fun but is no where near fast and won't be for a while so you don't have to worry im probably one of the most modded people on the site and there aren't many that mod crazy becuase of warranty.

 

YEAH!!! I'm getting my suspension put in ASAP with some 275's and hitting the strip...hopefully next saturday get to see what the mods will do then get my suspension and dr's in by next test and tune.

 

I want a real track that grips and some drag radials maybe a little work on the driver mod to

with a 1.9 60 ft.....most GTO's are running in the high 12's when they're cutting 60's like that to be honest with you. 12.7-12.9 range....

Cold air intake, 80MM throttle body, cat back, weight reduction.....not a lot but more than what I had when I went stock. Driver mod too since I've had the car longer than 3 days, lol....

On a side note im going to be racing my best buddies h/c/i ls1 becuase he does not think his car is fast i will have video of the slaughter as well.

 

LS1 bird or maro? HCI bird and maros can be very quick cars....Heads and cam on these motors is hardly anything to do but frequently get like 100+ HP gains, lol.
