there is NO WAY you pulled that car if you say you did PLEASE LEAVE and 243 heads blow my ass and so does an ls6 intake , also what are the specs on the cam before i rag you on that . fast 90>>>>> ls6 intake , and 243 heads are out of the ls2 , keep talking , you should be out practicing your driving

And why am I funny??? A cam/heads LS1 bird with 4.10's hooking up should run low 12's probably
243 heads are a helluva gain on an LS1, especially a 98, and the 98's didn't come with the LS6 intake either so thats a big upgrade for the earlier bird...also quite cost effective...
and 243's were on the LS6 before the LS2......just sayin.

AS for the specs on the cam is on lsk lobes 111 lsa 230's for duration over .600 lift. lets see 12 hp over a ls6 intake for 600 bucks more who is the idiot now. Please leave you don't even know **** about your motor don't pretend to. Actually the 243 heads were first offered on the zo6 tool but its ok i know your slow. The race is going to happen and it is going to be on video my buddy wants to compare his car to mine

The lobe seperation angle is 111 ( that means the car cams good at idle)
The duration is 231 on the intake and 234 on the exhaust at .50
The lift is .644 on the intake and .598 on the exhaust

no ported fast 90= take the intake apart and port it.....
and the TFS heads are pretty decent...
BUT you can buy a set of 243's for like 500 bucks generally, port them mildly and throw in a decent cam and you'll gain a lot of power over stock LS1 heads....and going from the old style ls1 intake (98-00) to the factory LS6 manifold is a cost effective upgrade...
Sounds like a budget build- why you trying to rag on the guy for building a better LS1 on a budget....sounds like a lot of younger guys...hell I'll buy some 243's if I run into a deal on em...****....

fast 90 ported with a 90mm throttle body and a set of trick flow heads , 243 heads arent great unless there massively ported , and an ls6 is just another waste of money, ported fast90>ls6intake , trick flows > 243 heads even if there ported to hell and back

As for some of the videos people post here and on youtube or streetfire they are along the same lines.
