so yesterday me and my buddy, who has a 490 wheel horse supra , were cruising around in my cobalt when we see this clean black audi tt with black spoke and polished lip wheels pull out onto a main road here in conway, so of course i chase him down.

we pull into this aparment complex, start small talking. i notice that this is the same audi i beat from a dig when the road was wet late at night with no traffic a while back, so i am pretty sure i can take it. i ask him if he wants to race, and he says not really, and asks "are you the guy i raced a while back?" i lied and said "no i dont think so man, why?"

he replies with "well i ran either a black one or a dark blue one a while back and it was mean, it sounded badass." yep that would be mine cuz im the only cobalt ss/sc here in conway, and my car is loud as hell. he continues to say "yea it was really really fast, i think it was modded."

well, im not modded, but it was funny because i told him mine runs like high 14's in the quarter... ha i run low low 14's. and he says stock tt's run low 14's to high 13's. BS! but yea i completely had this guy thinking he would smoke my ass, but he wouldn't freaking run...

 

Too bad he didn't want to run. That would have been another notch on the ol' bed post if you know what I mean.

So lets say I have a stock SS/SC and come up to someone who wants to race. Since my old car couldn't race a bicycle I never really got into what sort of car could beat another. I was just wondering in general what sort of cars I should not worry about losing to that are common. I see a ton of civics etc that are suped up but just not sure if any of them could beat the SC. I'm just interested in having some douchebag who's with his girl or possibly other douchebag and try showing me up by reving his engine. I'm not too interested in racing everyone, just on the occasion if someone trys to impress me.

 

well i have raced many many cars most expensive ones i have beaten... BMW Z4, a few mercedes, 350Z, omg and so many hondas but you have to watch dont sleep on those hondas boy some of them are fast as **** especially the bubbles seen a couple keep up with me and even beat me

do u know what tt it was 3.2? 1.8t 225 or 180?

 

ummmmmm i know it was a turbo if that helps pretty sure it was a 1.8t

 

yeh they got the 180hp one that just looks pretty with fwd and the 6 speed 225hp with quatro

 

he actually had quite a few mods done to it but it isnt near as fast as he thinks it is

 

i saw a dark blue TT with black rims in my complex...it looked VERY nice...that car is very clean, but a BIT overpriced (id rather a corvette for $40k) but i didnt know a ss/sc could beat it! sweet, maybe ill have a run in with him in a month (or 2 because i have to break in my engine before i even think about running past an understandable rpm)

 

they depretiate in value pretty fast actualy....

 

dude if its even close to stock they are slowwwwww, but watch out for it if its chipped and what not

 

Some dude in a mazda mx-3 might want to race me.

I don't know what he did to it. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't stand a chance though. I don't know anything about those cars though.

 

MX-3's are Uber slow unless he's done some serious work to it. Don't waste your gas!

 

My friend with a SS raced this dude

he smoked him with just an SS. My friend assumes the mx-3 would have to put in at least 5 grand to come close. I will not waste my gas at all.
