So tonight I ran a DeLorean, talk about a unique run.

It didn't sound all that great... it didn't run all that great... but man it was cool. I used to think those were sooo cool when I was a kid too.

The guy driving it had '80s coke-bottle glasses on and he had this poofy platinum blonde haired chick riding with him that looked like she was straight out of a porno or something.

He must've not had his flux capaciter on at the time because nothing happened when we passed 88mph either. If he did, then the race would've been over before it started... no pun intended?

 

Those cars were dogs. I think 140hp if that

Yea those cars are slow as **** but still a cool race.

You can buy them brand new again. A company is remaking them with all original parts, too bad they are like 35-40k starting out. LOL

yep had to shut it down at 87mph though, didnt want him to prematuraly travel through time. that **** can be dangerous.

Yeah, it wasn't going anywhere fast. I always thought they were so cool though.

 

Delorians are turds, they have a 4cyl that for the most part couldnt get up to 88mph, there was a v6 version, but they are very rare

 

if it makes ya feel any better i actually didnt, but a couple days ago one passed me in the opposite direction so i put that as the status update on face book lol

 

Neat, I have seen a few but never got to race one. I didn't know they made a v6 version.

 

Some guy locally has one... I'll bet my parent's Odyssey could spank it

A brand new one starts at $57,500... ouch. On the bright side, the new ones can come nicely equipped. MP3, 197hp "high performance N/A" engine, Eibach springs, 5 speed manual or 3 speed auto (wow), iPod interface, nav system, heated and cooled seats, LED lights, etc.

 

My delorean came out to 70k!!
