They do 60 in 1st gear so launch must be tricky either bog badly or blow the tires off if you get it wrong. Cmiller was racing next to a C6 Z06 that ran a 13.2 at 123 LOL.

yepo. the margin of error in every single race is a lot higher than most think.

Yep auto = idiot proof if you hook. I used to launch hard on faster cars with my LS2 GTO auto (4L65E HD)

truck did the same thing. 75% of hooking and yanking damn near everything out of the hole, or a 25% error of blowing the tires off well into 3rd gear.

brushed concrete + dig + 3ft roll out till wot = wheeeeeeeeee.

3.31s. I have a Boss 302 intake mani and rev to 7800 so I do 52 in 1st, 78 in 2nd, 113 in 3rd and not sure how fast 4th, 5th and 6th max out at.

Yep stock valve springs. Sean at AED revs his to 8000 on stock valvetrain LOL. Full exhaust (no cats), Airaid CAI, BBK 90MM throttle body, and custom SCT tune by me.

I guess this is a FWD car forum, so people don't understand some vehicles can 60' stupid well, and run a great ET with no trap speed.

My old Camaro just went 12.53 @ 106.99 the other weekend. My tune only SS/TC pulled him a little from a roll, but there is no way in hell I would catch him in a 1/4 mile dig race.

Just like LS2 Corvettes are a mid 12 car, but in an 1/8 mile race, my old Z28 would be out a ways and they would be playing catch up.

A Z06 car goes ~60 mph in first gear. If they did a short race to 70, and the Z06 spun some, obviously the truck will be out some. However, even with a no-drive a Z06 will trap in the 120s, so just like Bryan said, the truck would have lost had they stayed in it.

Edit: Just saw Terminator's post, exactly what I was saying about launching a Z06 car.
