show me and SS that has ran 14.00 or better stock.....it wont happen guy, what corner.......and all it takes is a little bolt-on's SE-R SPECV to beak a SS i know because i beat and ION RL.......

 

I dont care whether or not an SS and a redline are built on the same platform same engine and what not but a SPEC V will NOT beat an SS...they are putting out 217 stock HP and there is no way a SPEC V can compete...and you are saying a turbo is a bolt on...yes...but its not cheap.....are you sure the guy in the RL just didnt let off the gas?

ok you SS runs 14.70 stock and im running a consistent 14.20 so eat a dick and the ion runs a 14.50 stock with an awsome driver and i have had my car at the track and i know what it can do, so before you call me stupid you should race my car with a stock cobalt and then tell me im dumb.....im not just because i have a nissan what is your point

beside im not knocking the cobalt ss i like the car and the design but im just saying i can beat a stock one......i have intake, headder, exhaust, motormounts, underdrive pully, balancing shaft removal, knock sensor relocation, and ass load of suspension work done......the car is quick and i was suprised to beat the car thats all!

 

i know he didnt because he said he didnt and he wanted to know what i had done to my car and i told him he was suprised and i think some of it was the driver too because i was in front of him by almost a car lenght the entire time!!!!

All of that done and you hit 14.20..... I would say the same amount fo money into an SS and it would eat you for lunch... would probobly beat you stock, I'm sure the cobalt is underrated in quarter times just like it is in HP.

 

could be but i have beat and ION RL already and so i dont think they B/S the quarter times unless someone proves me otherwise then i will stick with what GM says it will do...but i loe the car and its about time GM gave me something in my style worth buying that still got good gas mileage......cool guys but 14.20 is respectable acctually darn resectable if you ask me but if you dont think soo the you also probably think all honda hatches run 12's and ****......but people are allowed to have there opponions i guess!

Stock for stock a blown cobalt would have a fair run with a spec v. Mods are a diff story.

 

My brother has a '10 Spec V with a axle back and from a dig he consistently launches way better then my friend with a LSJ with intake and full exhaust. Well enough to keep the Cobalt from ever catching him.

On the highway it's a little different but my Brother has only done a handful of highway pulls.

 

My mom has an 06 ser spec-v. I've driven it a million times. It's a fun car at times but doesn't hold a candle to my LSJ even when it was stock. An LNF would take a dump on it.
