well it was a 3 car battle..i was the true under dog and even if i did loose it wonldnt matter since im the slowest of the 3 cars...so anyways we go on the highway...line up 45mph-130mph,and we go at it...i jump on both the sti and 350z and keep a half car lead till bout 115 when they start to catch me and bout to pass me till we reached 130..i was like wtf just happened here..so we go again and same outcome...the sti had a passanger and catback exhaust(around 310hp),350z has nismo cold air,nismo catback exhaust(300hp),and i have the WHIIIIINNNNEEE..stock i was totally surprised...not a bad night at all..

 

i doubt either of those cars has numbers that high, but either way you shouldnt have stayed with them like that. not saying it didnt happen, its just crazy. that kind of stuff has happened to me too, so i know where youre coming from. start carrying a camera...

 

What years were the 350z and STI?

 

06 sti.06 350z..i didnt beleive it eaither and i said f**k it ill run with them...it was suppose to be a 350z vs sti race only,but the 3rd lane was open so i decided to go and see what happens...and that was the outcome...i didnt beleive it either and dont expect you guys to beleive me,cuz i myself didnt beleive it till it happened

 

I believe it. I've beaten 2 stock Evo's, 3 350z's, 3 G35 coupe's. I was as amazed as you until I started beating these cars a few times. Now I'm arrogant lol j/k

the sti's is reasonable and the 350 prolly is im not to up on those cars.

 

I have run even with a pasenger in my car with a fully built 350z had porting cams all NA mods boltons no cat not mufflers but that was me with just stage 2 and 2.8.

the sti might close to that power,since my best friend drives an sti and has it reflashed with turbo-back exhaust with dyno tune..he put dont 285whp and 356wtrq on 19psi..stock turbo

 

The key with roll racing is getting the jump. If you get the jump on the other car, even if it does have more power it gives you a HUGE advantage.

 

True Dat, 350z's and G35's are EVERYWHERE in baltimore. more of them then civics..lol..ive raced two 350z's and beat them both

 

it's believable. I don't think I would post it on the 350 or the STi forums though, haha. A friend of mine has an 06 350 and when we were stock we were pretty much side by side.

STi's aren't roll monsters in stock form, or with a Cat back. It takes a few more green backs than a CBE to make them good rollers. Cobalts as we all aware of are roll monsters, good kill.

 

the STi driver probably didn't brake boost which he should have done from a roll (hold the brake while giving it more gas, build boost, let go of brake and floor it). with a catback the STi probably was around 240-250 whp. the Z with intake and exhaust would be lucky to break 245whp; stock they're about 230-235whp (mine was 234whp stock, 264whp with CAI, upper intake plenum, headers, high-flow cats, and cat-back) and don't take well to bolt-on's, i had one and know those cars inside and out.
