car has no badge, and kinda sounded like a V6 to me with a flowmaster, but, also concider that most stock LT1 run 14.2-13.9 on average, so it wouldn't be too much of a surprise you'd win...

L98 powerplant are pathetic, so yea they are easy to beat

Good kill. If he shifted properly he would of stood a better chance IMO.

Good kill. I can totally believe that a cobalt took out a LT1. These are getting old, and if not maintained well (which is common, given the difficulty on working on a 4th gen), they will run pretty slow. Cobalts are pretty stout, especially from a roll.

On the other hand, I dont seem to have had a problem with taking out stage 3 cobalts with my big, heavy and slow LT1 with bolt ons...

wow man, that's awsome, I wish I could get these kills together on a CD and show some people that don't believe what's in these Cobalts. I still didn't get mine yet, I have to sell my 3000GT first .... yeah, I'm trading up on a '94 3000GT 5-speed for a cobalt ..... well, I'm selling it to get a Cobalt .... anyway, awsome kill, love it, post some more! lol

That somebody was right. Run an LS1, and if thats not fast, wait til the throwback Camaro drops. Nice kill though

well the thing is its not even a matter of what engine or car the person has. everything depends on who is driving, how they are driving, and obviously the mods done to the car. i mean ****, take the worst stick driver in the world(me) in one of those LS1's modded to the ***** with 250 shot nitrous and watch a stock cobalt ss/sc beat me lol. all depends on the variables and there are a lot to account for. its not like buying a piece of gum. a car has hundreds of parts and if even ONE of them isnt working right that could effect everything.

Oh yeah, the G85 package, before you buy your Cobalt, is there much difference besides the seats? I want to get the G85 package, but I don't care for the seats, I like the all leather look .... let me know guys what you thinks better.
