Cool, I can see that then. Those numbers are believable with those mods. And seeing that a tuned SS/TC makes closer to 300 than the SRT-4 with those mods I can see the win.

I wouldnt go that far. A simple turbo swap on an LSJ plus bolt ons would give a stage 3 SRT-4 or a 50 trim SRT-4 a pretty good run probably. But I do think they have more aftermarket parts and turbos for the SRT-4.

 

Yeah, but once u start talking turbo swapping and boltons it is anyones game.
A S3 turbo is still a baby turbo compared to the aftermarket big turbos available out there.
37lb/min vs 50lb/min turbos or more

 

I know the stage 3 turbo kit is nothing compared to others out there, but a stage 3 kit with bolt ons is good enough for 11's in the 1/4 mile, which hadnt happened that often in a Cobalt.

Exactly!! I've learned alot about SRT-4's and their turbos from my Brother.
