One of my buddies has a stock evo and wanted to race me who is all stock and all i have done is a corsa catback and a CAI.....

I told him lets go from a 40 which puts me in a pretty good postion because i would be in second gear instead of the 25 that he suggested where i would be in 1st and would prolly hit the rev limiter

Neway three honks were off and we are dead even till about 100 or so and i started edgin him...It was kinda funny because he cant drive the car

bone stock evos are not incredibly fast... there's just an image associated with evo, and it's speed... modded ones are no joke, but stock they're not speed demons...

 

yah i know this we have an evo in town that runs pretty damn good he has bout 20 grand of work done to his car...Neway its just the fact that since Mitsubishi drivers think their cars are so fast stock and then they loose their big ass ego when somethin cheap walks them.....Prime example: new kid in town got a yellow evo (temp tags) and my buddy in his wrx who runs 12'9's comes next to him and is like you wanna run em....The kid with the evo is like DUDE DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS?? iTS AN EVO!!!! we cracked up and just blew past him

 

omg i can see that kid's face right now. That's like an athlete waiting in line at the club telling the bouncer "don't you know who I am?"

That is a nice kill man, but beware in a few month's when he come back wanting some more. Them car's are just too easy to get 400whp out of them

 

from a dig they are far faster than from a roll as with any awd car. those cars really aren't that fast if you don't launch em hard, but when you do....jesus christ, 0-30 is insane!

 

i get beat by my buddies well driven stock evo from any mph roll. and i NEVER edge him up top, his car tops out at 160, a balt will not hit that stock.

 

well see to the people on here who say wait till a couple months when he will come back....Either iam going with a big ass ****** turbo for my car here soon or im selling it to get a R32 Vw and turbo that who knows though

 

hahaha i know that evo pretty dam well....i walked all over his ass....everytime we race even from a dig he may pull at first but at the end of second gear all he sees is my tail lights....i raced that evo when i had 3ppl in my car from a 25 when i was in 2nd and he was in 1st and it was like dead even and then again from a 40mph and i had 3ppl and i put almost one car on him

hey 2fastss.. whos ur body wit the WRX???? I hear its slow...... i mean i hear ur SS will take it from a dig right now, and just leave it settin there right next to cpraiders SS.... and if the WRX and cpraiders SS could get to a 40mph roll i bet it would be a really close race....hahhahahaha

 

Your right a SS/SC has a speed limiter at 158mph but it would go faster without it.

The only thing worse than STi and EVO roll performance is there top speed.

nice kill ... but lets not get carried away with the evo's are slow stuff those things can kick the **** outa lots of rides with similar costs in mods or less in some cases. Bad driver can account for a loss but that doesn't mean next time that the race won't be from a dig with more experience under that drivers belt.
