The War
From hero to zero in .001 seconds...
Thanks Eric for putting so painfully
I shall be back in force soon enough. I'm starting my motor build sooner than I planned, but I can make due.

I think you are funny because you say 13.5 with the gauge.. Even though those are known to be way off.
You hate GM yet you mod the car PAST what was intended for it. It's a cheap sports car, They can't just throw in the best of everything and keep the price down, who would want a 40k Cobalt because it has stronger parts.
And no you I would bet you were not putting down 320 whp. My car with no more mods then really anyone else out there beat a stage 3 SRT4 running over 300 whp. And I'm only at, at most, 265 whp. Our cars just have a broad band with a high torque amount through the whole rpm range.
HP is not even a real factor to base a car, just as a side note SRT 4s have 250 or whatever hp stock, and ours are 200, yet we are (depending on the driver) about the same on 1/4 mile times. This can be left to debate of which is faster and whatever, but they are basically very even matched both on highway and on the line.

i find that most engines and even motors run their best right before they blow up.. all of my go-peds were like that.. they would scream for a day or so.. i think "hey i tuned the hell out of this bitch". and then.. ting-ting-pop done....
sorry to hear about your engine.. is their goin to be a funeral?

Julex, that is the dumbest **** ever. He has a 2.6 Pulley, 60lbers, ported blower, cooling mods, Race Gas tune, and Cam is a good self tuner OVER what you have. That is going to make more than 35HP on top of your 265hp, To put him over 300HP. Believe me is car is over 300HP on his race gas tune.

IM SORRY BUT ANYONE WHO RUNS A 2.7 PULLEY AND 42 LB INJECTORS CAN NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY
oh man i was sooo happy, than i herd it chug... and i was like OH NO...... so what did i do, i got in my ss/sc, and went srt hunting, found me a stock one (performance wise) and ran it, i have a injen intake, and a TTR motor mount, and we ran pretty much dead even... kinda shocked me.

sounds like me...
but anyone can claim any hp...
if it wasn't on the dyno, then you have no numbers... aeroforce don't count for ****, according to mine I ran a 12.8 on the street lol, and same setup on the track netted me a 13.94 (though my 60' sucked ***** and my car was overheating) but still... don't say what you put down until you have a dyno to prove it, its keeps the noobs from crying, and I can't take them anymore

Damn that sucks!!! I just read this thread and saw the video now. Thats crazy! I just ordered 2.6" pulley and 60lb injectors, now I'm kinda worried about putting the pulley on! Might stick with the 2.8"
You could also tune your car to run reduced boost and retard timing for daily driving. Not as fun, but help protect the motor in the long run.
I wouldn't be too much. Hew was running that car pretty hard and on a race gas tune. if you get your tune dialed in right on pump gas and without a lot of timing then you should be ok for a while. Just be prepared to build the motor if you want to run that setup hard and for a long time.

Well using the process of elimination we've come to the conclusion that I burned a valve. It doesn't over heat, doesn't smoke, and a 4 spark plugs look perfect with no oil on them, but it still only runs on 3 cylinders. Ferria Ti big bore valves HERE I COME! Glad it wasn't a piston... although I'm replaceing those as well.
