so on the way to work this morning...i check out the rearview and see a guy i work with who also drives a ss/sc. so as one who doesn't believe in cannabalism i just stay cruising, he passed me then got in my lane and cruised a little slower than me so i go out to pass him and he drops it to fourth and takes off. finally after a few seconds i react...cause im comatouse this ealry int he morning...i drop it and follow. i passed a new speed barrier, i was doing 140 when i looked at the speedo. i looked up and he is inching away yet, regardless i back off because of the high cop activity in the area.

we get to work and he jumps out and says he hit 160. i said dont make me do that that early again...

so woohoo for going fast on my way to work this morning...and we were both early for wok too...who woulda thunk it!

what kind of top speeds is everybody else getting?

 

about 155-157 is my top. Ive seen people hit 160 stock, must be the strong canadian winds slowing me down.

 

160+ no idea had it pinned after 6600 rpm and pulled to 7200.. so somewhere up there

 

i went 200 in mine, but i woke up shortly after

I hit about 145 without really brakin' much of a sweat. Mine's still pretty new, don't wanna break her yet!

 

Unless you've got some small tires, 6600 rpm is good for about 170 in 5th, and 7200 will put you at 185...I believe you topped 160, but you may want to double-check your numbers. Either that, or you started spinning your tires...

 

What if shes sitting beside you...... with her head in your lap

 

I have hit 153 and it didnt want to go any further just stayed at 153

 

I know I was going pretty damn fast an I hit 7200 in 5th so whatever that equates to... I didn't want to speculate since the speedo only hits 160

I hit 140 at the top of 4th so not sure how much more 5th is good for

 

I just set mines to 200MPH with HPT a speed I will never get to. lol
