18x8.5 +35 offset

Will these work for a base G5, or is the offset too low? I know someone was running a 19x8.5 with a +38 offset, and I was wondering if those 3mm would make a difference.

I do plan on droping my car on coilovers, and I was wondering if the offsets were too extreme for a decent drop on a DD

th offset i was running with 19x8.5 was +35 IIRC. Or +45 it was one of the two. I didn't have rubbing issues, i have no idea how. However, 8.5 is REALLY wide. If your wheel of choice is available in 8" width, i would suggest that.

Some people have rubbing issues with a +35 offset 8.5" combo. If you go with 235/40/18 tires and Peddars springs, you will likely be okay. You won't be able to go crazy low on coilovers, that's for sure! The Peddars springs keep the rear end a little higher than other drop springs. Most rubbing issues are at the rear wheels.
