Anyone else noticed this or is it just me
I had new tires installed on my 05 ss/sc. I went with a 225/45r18 instead of the 215/45r18. Well long story short my right rear wheel is rubbing my fender and tearing up my tire. I noticed that my left front sits in about a half in further then the right rear does.
It's the extra height of the 225/45/18 tire. They are almost half an inch bigger than 215/45/18's. The fronts tuck in the fender wells more than the rears. Your camber could be a bit off up front also. I don't know why Tire rack recommends 225/45's. Most SS owners run 225/40's or 235/40's.

I just got 225/45R18 's and notice rubbing on front passenger tire when front end loading (braking) and turning to the right. I'm guessing mine at least has more to do with diameter (9mm bigger overall than stock) than width cause it doesn't rub when going slow and turning for me...
Still I'm surprised nobody had mentioned this... and I can't seem to find anything hanging or loose in the wheel well.
