The Dealer is Nuts

I found a crack in my rim. Called the dealer to find out how much for a replacement. $800 per rim. WTF are these made of platinum?

Where is the crack at? Just go to a weld shop, have them weld the crack and grind the weld smooth, then have your tire put back on and rebalanced and you should be good to go. I am estimating about $100 for the repair. Got one done for my girls car and I got everything done for under $100.

In Macedonia. That's in Ohio.
$800/rim is dealer pricing. Never go dealer pricing.
