guys how do you think this would look?

would 18 on the front and 19 on the rear look good? like 225/40/18 on the front and 235 40/19 on the rear? it would help reduce the gap in the rear without lowering.

IMO, I think it will look good, except you will need to do 235/35/19 on the rear to be closer to the same size on the front wheels. Also, if your car has ABS, I would suggest doing the same size all around to allow better stopping times.

it wouldn't throw the speedo off though would it if both the 18's and 19's were 40's? what would the ill effects be?

Yes it would. The 40 is called an aspect ratio. This is because it determines height by the wheel diameter and the tire width. A 235/40R19 and a 225/40R19 are different by 1 mph. No ill effects other than speedo off and od off, or if you have anti lock brakes, add 20ft+ to your stopping distance. And don't ever do it with an all wheel drive or 4x4vehicle.

I thought about doing this, but it would hurt my 1/4th mile times and that means no for me. I'm sure it would look great on a show car or something. I just don't want to create more drag on the rear wheels. If you do it, take some pics!

i thought changing the aspect ratio on the front wheels changes the speedo...I am changing the aspect ratio on the front from 45 to 40 but i'm having the computer changed to compensate...but it shouldn't matter what the rear aspect is in terms of speedo and odo off. I'm new at all this so i love learning all this info.

I need to go to the bathroom after seeing those pictures of graphics.

I'm sorry, but those are definitely not my taste.

To each his own I guess..

im not the proudest of the decals either but hey i got them and oh well i guess. i know alot of people probably wouldn't like it. i got fixed what needed and got money back out of it for more worthy purchases for it. but as far as flat or polished black im not sure possibly semi or so somewhere in the middle to match up with the black already on it

its turning to rice in your guys eyes huh? im starting to see it somewhat

I actually like the rims the way they are. The black is ok I guess. Man if you take off that decal, and tint your windows, no matter what color the rim is whether it is silver or black, it would look badass

only problem is if i take off decal youwill see where it got keyed and i used the extra cash i got back to order strut bar and other things, i didnt do the smart thing and get it fully repainted on the areas where it got keyed. they airbrushed the marks and then layed on the decals

Don't start appologizing for what you do to your car. I don't particularly like the decals -- but it's your car and if you like it that way that is ALL that matters. Truth is, it's different and it stands out. You will find that no matter what you do to your car someone won't like it -- and won't mind letting you know -- we all have different tastes.

Sorry some AH keyed your car! What you did to fix it was innovative.

thanks i appreciate that. but i would rather have had custom paint but it was to much for what insurance gave me and what i had at the time so i did this.
