The hotswap rims arent that heavy they are about 30lbs which i dont think is bad. Cause i looked on the shipping label when i got mine.

sure, 30 lbs isn't heavy for wheels......if you're putting them on an 18 wheeler.

seriously though, 30 lbs is extremely heavy for wheels on a car. like i said, if you don't care about performance then go w/ them.

this is true for the ss/sc guys. it's a shame gm put heavy wheels on their sportiest cobalt. aren't the stock 18's like 26 lbs or something?

the falkens i'm getting are like 23lbs i think .... they're total boxed shipping weight is 26 LBS so it's probably some where around there which is less then my stock 16's and the falkens are 17s... gm screwed over the 2.4s too... they made all the wheels too heavy for the size

i doubt the box they shipped the wheel in is even close to 3 lbs. 26 lbs for 16" wheels is ridiculous. it's hard to believe stock 16" wheels weigh that much. my stock 16" wheels on my rsx weighed 16 lbs. aren't the ss/sc 18" wheels 26 lbs?

umm they don't just ship them in a box... you'd be surprised how much shipping stuff weighs... unless you were saying that shipping stuff is more then that

the 26 might be with the tire but i'm pretty sure someone checked at some point and they're heavy as **** ... hell when i did my springs and lifted them they were heavier then I expected

i mean look at the motegi track lights they're like 15 lbs or so for 17s and 11lbs for 15s, do you really think that gm would put something on thats close to that? tracklites are 300$ each... it wouldn't surprise me if the ss/sc rims are heavier then 26s lbs..

my 18" volk wheels weigh 14 lbs and the box that it came with said the weight of the package was 15 lbs. i'm sure other companies have their own way of shipping but 2 lbs of shipping material sounds a little too extreme.
