I went in and they didn't have anything. They even called GM...they were waiting on a call back, that was almost a month ago.

That sucks I don't want my speedo/odometer to be way off and I was hoping I could talk the guy into raising the limiter.

Just get a tire that is the right size. You can get a bider rim and a wider tire and not mess uo the speed O.

My Intense PCM was reflashed for 225/40/18 tires. I didn't want my speedo to be off, so they were nice enough to change it for me.

I checked up on this and found you can only really have the car programmed for 195/60-15s or 205/55-16s. They're both the exact same and the same tire height as stock so its pointless. I called Techline and Tech Assist and neither had an answer for me.

NOTE: This is only true for 2.2 cars.

They can reflash for the speed rating of the tire. There are two speed ratings on the
15's. Also the 195/60 15 is 615mm total height and the 205/55 16 is 631.9mm total height. The circumfrence of the 16's is 53mm greater.

I don't know about reflashes for speedo calibration. I only know of the reflash for the top speed limiter.
