I could not find any steel wheels to fit my SS/TC.

I posted my solution here: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/whee...ackage-229107/

You might be able to go with cheaper winter tires and taxes may be lower if your from Oil Country.

Nope, I'm in NB now.

Well that sux... I wanted steel winter rims and winter tires... Sux that no company has made these. I mean no one else is, so they have an open market...

SS/TC steel wheels, 5 spoke steelies seen

Not that this helps us find steel wheels for the ss/tc but i did see an ss/tc cobalt at the twelve oaks mall in Novi, MI with the 5 spoke steel wheels w/ winter tires on it and they were clearing the brembo's. it was black, highrise wing, no tints and had a GM employee pass thing on the rearview mirror? so there are some that fit somewhere, so far on here or anywhere i have found no solutions. guess im gonna have to drop by the mall again and or hang around that area and see if i run into it again. should of left the guy my email or something. i will update if i do.

i found somwhere that you can get 15" steelies from G6's. I've researched and found nothing, starting to think they never made 15" wheels for them. Am I wrong? If so where can i find some? Also saw that you can fit 15" wheels with 1/4 spacer. Are these facts correct? I'm trying to find wheels to run on my 2007 SS/SC with slicks.. any help would be great

We have 16" steelies for Supercharged and non Supercharged cars (non Brembo calipers), but nothing smaller there and nothing smaller than 17" for Brembo equipped (turbo) applications.

So from what I read here there is no way to tell if a steel wheel will fit with Brembos or not. Is that correct? Is trial and error the only way to tell?

I'm asking because there are some very nice deals on craigslist for winters on wheels.

You can tell by the size, but good luck finding some big enough.
I haven't found any anywhere on the internet yet.

If you find some come back and tell us.

Good luck on your journey.

We do not have access to any steel wheels in 16" (in a 5x110 bolt pattern) that will clear the Brembo's. If you find steel wheels in 16" and in 5x110, post up what car they came off of and I can check, but I'd bet they won't work.

Runs off a Saturn ion redline for the SS/TC with a very small spacer.
I have a set of 4 redline rims with 2 snow tires on them already, and I'll throw in the spacers I made and you will have a perfect winter setup.
I sold my cobalt, no need for these now.
Message me and I will give you more details.
I'm going to make a for sale thread within the next couple days.
