Will I rub?

I'm putting drag dr-34's which are 18x8 with 215/45/18 tires on in a week or two. I have h&r springs. Will I have any problems with rubbing???

Offset is 35mm which according to offset calculator means the wheels will stick out an additional 20mm which seems to be a lot.

Do you think the offset difference will be enough since the offset is 45 compared to the stock 42 which means it will be tucked under a little more? Anyone have 18x8 wheels on h&r springs with 45 offset know the answer to whether it will rub or not?

Lower offset would just mean they stick out a little further or are closer to deep dish style right?? You don't think dr=34's will look good? lol

btw I think a higher offset looks good on the cobalt. Not that I don't like lower offset wheels I feel like most of them have a big lip and the spokes usually are tucked in underneath this lip which makes the wheel look smaller opposed to going to the very tippy top of the lip which most higher offset wheels do making the wheel look bigger such as the stock 18" wheels which are 42 mm offset. Anyone agree? I would like someone to prove me wrong with pics.

Just used a wheel offset calculator. Says the outer edge of my rim with be extended outward an additional 10 mm with my new wheels.

a lower offset would give it a more flush or poking out appearance. its a more aggressive look. i dont like high offsets because it makes your wheels look smaller. i dont mind having chunky wheels. i think +35mm will look awesome on a balt, thats what i have with the wheels i ordered.

I have 235's on my stock SC wheels. Tires look massive from behind.

I do rub in the back a bit though.

Drag DR-34
18X8 5-110/11235SML Well I just found out the offset I got was 35. Different website said 45 but Discounttiredirect which is where I ordered from says 35. Think it will still clear?

wheel calculator says it will stick out an additional 20 mm from stock. That's over an inch.
