Gonna spray on an already 500hp stock bottom end? I would just order pistons and rods now lol.

Btw what are you lowered on?

Do you guys think the zfr 7163 with a ported head, stage 2 cams, opels, upgraded intank pump, 5th injector, e85, can reach 550whp at 30psi?

Do you guys think the stock turbo manifold is a slight hindrance?

Hopefully not much more. I researched some online about extrude honing the stock manifold but most people say it's not worth it and expensive.

You can port it yourself. Not sure how this would work on a 7163 car but i removed the divider on mine which is pretty thick so i imagine flow was increased at least a small amount.

If youre worried about the manifold you could get a t3 mani and use a t3 efr

Trying to either remain cost efficient with the bolt on version, or pay way more for a kit like werks racing efr kit. Although I'm not sure if their stainless o2 housing is fitted for stock downpipe location.

I believe that you hurt the flow taking that out! That divider will shield the next pulse from the previous and also direct the flow down towards the turbine. With taking out the divider all the exhaust energy will just crash into each other in the collector and not be nicely directed to the turbine

And a friend mentioned removing the divider could make the casting more prone to cracking after periods of expansion.

Goal was to spool slower and hold more boost up top.

Those sre opposites spool slower mean less efficient and hold boost means more efficient.

Are you running a MBC?

Spools slower because i got rid of the twin scroll, holds boost better up top because ported manifold(better flow in theory.) It was just something Al suggested to me so i went ahead and did it. And yes i have a hallman ES boost controller.

Well a single scroll turbo will hold top end better but then again its designed to be a single scroll in the first place. I believe that divider straightens out the pulses and redirects them because its such a short manifold in the first place
