yea i'm contemplating asking zoomer what is up because the other guy jus said he had the same problem....its wierd and annoying but doesnt affect performance and i couldnt really send it back considering my car was off the road for a week waiting to get it back along with the stage kit so i just told them to research the issue an call me when they had a solution...but it is verry annoying but the kit does run verry well

zzp should def figure out wtf is with the as guage. I went through a massivly lame ordeal and had to push my car 5 blocks thatnks to them. Oh well. At least the car runs nice. They should def figure out what the problem is and how to fix this. Anyone know if this will go away if i get the car dynotuned?

the 05-06 ecm is different than the 07 and if you interchange them you will get a backwards reading gas gauge...but thats all no harm... how does no one know this? i did a search and found your answer in under 20 seconds...

another thing thats funny how did you guys actually run out of gas... the farther you drove the more gas you got!!! that didnt seem odd to you

well then it was obviously loaded with a canned tune that was from a 05-06 model i have there tune as well and i sent them my ecm also and mine is right i have a 07 and it reads normally... i dont know if you noticed but for a while on the website they had it only availible for 05-06 that was beacause of this issue... well i had someother issues with them like selling me a high flow dp that would throw a 420 code... so what they offered mye was to do a cat code delete at no charge if they could barrow my pcm to do a 07-tune this was early 07 and which i also recieved there canned tune at a discounted rate... dont know how much this helps you but yeah...

thats funny they should know exactly what caused it... i hope there not giving you thee old "cold shoulder" hoping you'll go away... it's not right and im sure you paid good money to do it right... if they dont even know what they did to your ecm, that would scare the **** out of me... what else did they forget/dont know what they did with that tune...

hmm this worries me. Im calling them right now cause my SS is an 06 and i want to make sure they have this kink worked out before i install it in my car cause i dont want my gas gauge to be doing that, even if it doesnt affect the actually driving of my car.

well of course i didnt get ahold of zzp...for some reason their phone always has a busy signal. i just tracked the pcm and its going to be here tomorrow afternoon but i doubt i will get everything installed tomorrow (pcm and 60s) but hopefully wednesday or thursday. ill keep you guys updated to see how well it works for me.

?? due to the heat, shoudl i go up a pulley size? im seriously thinking about this for i believe my car actually pulled harder with my stage 2 pulley on. and i know its been proven with zzp's pcm that they make more power with the 3" pulley versues a smaller one..

sweet. a vid would be nice too. im thinking about upgrading my heat exchanger also...im trying to get the engine as cooled as possible, cause in texas it gets pretty much 100 degrees everyday during the summer. do yall know which heat exchanger has the built in coolant tank to lower temps even more?? cause i dont wanna run the dual pass mod cause of the surge tank....

the Heat exchangers are only 60% efficient so your only getting another 60% cooler....if you want max cooling and power....spend another 200 an get the meth kit from AIS....you DO NOT need a tune for it however you'd put more power down if you did tune for it but if you don't then it keeps your engine safe an all it does is spray a mix of water/methanol into your engine an the water helps keep it cool while the methanol boosts your octane which pretty much eliminates the occassional (bad gas) that we get that pings every now an again....the meth over the h/e is far more cost effective

man, it really sucks that you spent all that time typing and explaining that for me when all you had to REALLY do was look below in my sig and you would have noticed AIS STAGE 1 ....

oh and to add to that, if you go to the customers pictures on AIS's website, you MIGHT find my car there...hahaha!!! http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.c...icle_info.html

then if you have an h/e and meth you should have no worries of heat problems....now my dam car is studdering in first and second an then smoothing out ....its only in the beginning of the first an second gear...once she gets going she is good or if i slip the clutch a bit so when it bites it is at a higher rpm its good also....i just installed the zzp header/dp combo so is it possible that the pcm/ecu is still learning the new setup?...and i had previously gapped my plugs at .40 and with the zzp stage 3 it ran great with just a cat-back but now its doing this so maybe i just need to regap?...any help would be appreciated

you only need to do a case relearn if you order their pcm an keep yours as well...if you send them your pcm that came in the car then you do not have to do a case relearn

you should have disconnected it when you removed it to begin with so yes disconnect it before you hook it back up....then reconnect it and pull your fuel fuse so you can drain your fuel lines so you can begin dismantling your injectors an fuel rail....once the car idles an shuts off (no fuel)...then disconnect the batter an put the fuse back in an start puttin in that stage kit....btw zzp said they fixed the fuel gauge backwards problem....i'm sending mine in at the end of the week to get reflashed an fix it

UPDATE: i got my 60s installed and the zzp pcm. car runs so smooth and i can definetly feel it pulling alot harder in 2nd car, cause 1st gear goes by pretty quickly..haha however my fuel gauge is backwards, so i might winde up sending it off to them again for them to fix it, i just cant go a week without my car since its my daily driver. so far everythings great though, a lil rich of a tune, buts its waaay better then my stage 2 tune. overall, im satisfied.
