I would have been satisfied with that in your first post, I honestly wouldn't have wasted the time to read this whole thread just to find out how unprofessional a supposed reputable company can be.

Sounded or was? lol
Even though it did happen, let's not try and say it didn't now...

Tundra- would you mind sending me your tcm file? I can look it over and see if there is anything that I would change for your application.

sounds like a great tuner.. you only put down 438 whp at 28 psi on a 362 ( or whichever it is) and hes blown 5 transmissions including 3 built ones?.. that sounds like exactly who I want to be tuning my car

I hope when you fix your car you magically pick up 100 whp and 1000rpms of spool on the same tune you had previously like the car should.. and it was just the engine was hurt

but seriously though.. if someone blows 5 transmissions that are auto .. the first thing I would look at is the things that were the same on all of them the tune and the driver not the product

You know way way way too much about my car lol... Its a 366 and only 25psi though... I agree it will probably spool seriously faster and make more whp with a new motor just because of the motor having so many miles and being hurt prior to the turbo install

Just thought I would update my situation in here for others who are curious on going with the 4t65ehd option...

Name: ZZPterribadquote.png

Ended up being quoted $14,725
Not sure on some of it as to why it's even in there, it wasn't explained at all. And I didn't ask... Just saw the end price and ran haha

uh no ****. lmao

There's a 500WHP SS I might be picking up here if I don't find any other options for this car... and that SS is less than this trans... pretty bad.

Tim asked me to write up a quote for a 4t65 trans setup with all the best parts we could offer and custom install in your Cobalt. That's where everything comes out to. Some of that stuff could be eliminated, such as running without a trans brake, running a cheaper converter, running a more basic trans controller, etc... You would still be looking at about $11k-$12k if we kept things more basic. It's just a really big job to make that swap.

It's all good I understand man... Honestly if we could get it down to 10K I'm all game for doing this... I appreciate you giving me the best parts. However I'm in no need for a trans brake at all. I know I could get the trans myself for pretty cheap too. Still have you guys build it and everything. But I get price on used parts thanks to where I work. I was a little surprised by the price of the trans itself. Also with the price of new charge pipes. I know the engine has to be tilted a bit, but not sure why the new charge pipes are needed and why they're so expensive... Like I said I'm all game for making it more basic as long as it runs nice and doesn't break!
