these have already been discussed, interesting as they are you cannot use them in an SS/SC

well last discussion on these plugs included that these werent available in the propper heat range that would be safe for forced induction...Perhaps now they are developing plugs designed for boosted cars, not sure about them though

please elaborate? both copper and iridium offer different advantages, but y do you think these are better than the iridiums???

iridiums will just last longer, but the coppers give you a better controled spark. iridiums will give you a better spark than platinum, but not as good as copper. only downfall to copper is they should be changed every 10,000 miles. i usually change mine every second oil change. And for 1.50 per plug, its not too big of an expense.

pulstar won't work in more than stock ss/sc. colder plugs would require that sparkplug adapter thing they sell from pulstar and those won't fit on an ss/sc because of the coil on plug design. the coils would sit up too high and the bolt wouldn't fit to secure them

i called pulstar and they told me that they make plugs for our cars. so that tells me that they would fit. and as for the copper= most bang. not true. if you do your research on these plugs they have what is similar to a capasitor that builds energy and releases it. when it releases its more than twice the bang. now whether they are cooler plugs or not i don't know. i didn't ask. but i will be looking into it.

yeah they make them that will fit stock, don't run these plugs if you're putting them on a modified car.

i think a point was copper= more bang for buck. I've seen dyno results, and there was maybe an average of 2-3 hp difference at the end, and iridiums vs. pulstar was about an average of .5hp difference, but it seemed pretty flawed since the average hp range was about (+-) 6-12 hp from test to test with 3 tests for each different plug. Too much margin of error for concrete results.

The tests just don't justify it, i think if they did twice as many tests and one with another car then results might stick better. With a MPG test, maybe it'll give you slightly better burn and more efficiency (remember the words maybe and slightly), but a spark is a spark and the burn propagation and AFR is what matters after that.

As long as you have a proper gap and a good working plug (of your choice copper, iridium, titanium, or pulstar if you have the urge), i doubt you'll see a difference in performance and i'm sure you'll be wishing you hadn't spent $100 on freaking spark plugs.

yeah but if you're modified and you start blowing out the spark cause of the hot plugs, you engine bearings and other internals won't love you anymore

hope they work out for you

There is charge only applied to the plugs when the ecm wants them to fire...there is no constant feed to them to "charge the capacitor" If it charges then sparks its actually delaying the spark from when the ecm actually wants it to fire

Lulz... Do you have any idea how sparkplugs work? from the PCM to the Coil pack to the Plug?

If the answer is yes, do you understand how capacitors work?

If the answer is no to any of the above, then please educate yourself.

If the answer is yes to both, well, you ******* lied, see above solution.

and not to sound like a dick but you probably shouldn't judge people that you don't even know. all that i did was read about them and even went a step further and called them. its not a marketing scheme. almost every apliance in your house has a capasitor. and thats what this is. just a little bit more advanced. but you probably wouldn't understand that. i mean why would you. i'm just a 23yo that probably has a little more experience with **** like that. but hey i do agree with the other people that if they aren't cooler plugs then its a bad idea for a modded cobalt.
