09 SS/TC intake & tune question

Hi All. So I got my 09 SS/TC back about 3 wks ago. Had an LDK from ZZP put in due to a porous block. Only had 34k on LNF. It has just over 1200 miles, did oil change at 1000k. After reading through a ton of threads on intakes and tunes, I have decided I want to do the ZZP intake tube/airbox mod and ZZP canned tune.

My question is. I did the airbox mod and added a Spectre air filter, however I have not purchased the ZZP intake tube yet. When I get the tube, do I need to get the tune right away?

Also, It doesn't seem to pull as hard as the LNF did. Does it need more mileage before its fully broken in?

BTW, I only had the car for 3 wks before it went in for the swap. 4 months later battling with warranty and dealer I got it back. So all this is still new to me.

Thanks, Mike

I would assume that you don't need the tune right away. I have a cai no tune. You just won't get any gains and your afr will be skwed. As far as the ldk, I have no clue about the pulls but breaking in should be around 1500 miles I believe.
