2nd gear issues

ok so a notice downshifting from 3-2 it grinds sometimes, the clutch is deff fully down when it happens. has anyone had an issue like this? also i notice latly its hard to get into first i usually will have to try putting it into 2nd or 3rd befor i can just put it into first if that has anything to do with it.

Try changing the fluid. But keep the OEM fluid in there. I tried redline, and I think its time for a synchro. Def not worth ruining the trans to save $20 on fluid.

just had this happen to me i thought it was the slave cylinder or the clutch master cylinder but the dealer said its the ball in the shifter and i read a few people had that problem so a short throw just might fix it

Do you blip the throttle when you downshift? If you rev match and your still having issues getting into gear you've got a problem.

I just had this problem. Roll pin was sheared off and caused some other problems. Service manager just called me to tell me they're giving me a new transmission.

Mine just started doing this occasionally! I thought it was just because I have a lil too much fun. Ill have to check the pins on the tranny portion then check the cup pieces again. I already broke one, wouldnt surprise me to have broken another.

the connections to the bottom of my shifter is fine, i just broke the one on the bottom of the shifter ball but replaced it and it did the a few times befor that happened anyway. ill have to check out the connections to the transmission itself i guess maybe that broke or something.

these trannys dont handle that much power to begin with

just try to baby it because if not it will go completely limp and not want to do ****. you could try adjusting the cable on the left, that might help
