AC delete question

Is it necessary to run an idler pulley in place of the Ac compressor pulley if you delete it? Grabbed a rad off a friend and it doesn't fit nor does it have condenser brackets like stock...

You could just not hook up the compressor and unplug the electrical so it doesn't engage the clutch. Keyword clutch, if you don't engage the clutch then the A/C compressor is already idling.

Better yet you can take the compressor apart and only run the half with the pulley on it to ditch the weight.

It's a gain to have fewer pulleys. Small, but the gain is there. Go with the shorter belt.

Where I'm from if you don't have a vin, the parts guys at the dealership are somehow lost. Either that or they're sick of their jobs

The 330K5 was custom measured by me, then went to an autoparts store a couple times until I got one that looked right. I didn't even think to look up a non-A/C ecotec car for the OEM belt.
