Absolutely... No dreaded OMGWTFBBQAPPLESAUCE instant torque hit like the KO4.

Ask Vince to smooth out power delivery. I'll PM you on some other easy fixes so that we aren't mucking up the thread any further.
Lol ok cool

Hey, have you asked him if an E blend on the 2871 is possible or was that out of the question too?

Nice. I thought you could run the blend and get away with it with some creative tuning

I have had cars run into the fueling limit on the stock turbo and E-47 at 24 psi and my own car on 93 octane gas at 0.80 lambda (still leaner A/F than 0.88 lambda and E-47) and 26psi ( 16* of timing 320-330* injection angle) rail pressure at 5K dropped from a commanded 2200psi to 1500psi.

Injector Constant is a WIN. I have my car running 26psi with FULL E85 right now and have no more pressure drop issues. Drew is also running a full E85 tune now without issue.

You just said 1:1 blend lol. I haven't had any issue on regular gas no matter the setup. In fact, the only real problems were when going to full E. Haven't had an issue on a Blend car.

Last week I did it to my car on gas 26 psi holding, 35 lbs/min VE, 0.80 PE lambda to keep knock away (too rich I know LOL but still leaner than e-47 and 0.88 lambda actually) and 16* max timing I maxed the pump out at about 4K-4500 IDC went to 34% IPW was over 9ms pressure dropped from 2200 psi commanded to 1500 psi at the rail. Car bogged and popped once when it happened.

It did though LOL. I turned the boost back to 24 flat (235-240 DAL) 14* timing and 0.88 PE lambda. I have a hybrid 09 regular OS with the 3 bar map settings so I can actually see 90-100% WG dc unlike the stage 1 09 file I had in the car before. Airload curve which normally mimics the torque curve looks so much flatter seeing 225 airload at 6400 vs 190-195 before and I have the WG rod back to stock now on the car as well.

I would ramp up the fuel pressure slower. It doesn't need to hold 2200 or greater flat to have enough fuel in there

Meh stock is 2176 psi. 2200 flat is not much higher.

Im not saying that's too high, Im saying it doesn't need 2200 lower in the RPM range

Yeah the HPFP is not very efficient in the lower revs it cannot pump fast enough. We need a different lobe spec for the HPFP that would help with fuel delivery if we could have it pump faster than stock. Maybe ZZP will build cams with a revised lobe for the HPFP.

This is a little off topic but have you or Nick tuned a TC with the new ZZP cams yet?
